As Discussed

Privacy

Victor runs As Discussed and is the controller of the waitlist. Contact hello@asdiscussed.app about your data.

What we keep, and why

When you join, we store your email address, the date you joined and the version of the consent text you accepted. If you choose to answer, we also store your e-ink tablet and computer type. We use your email only to tell you when As Discussed launches. The optional answers help us decide which devices to support.

Submitting the form gives us your consent. Answering the device questions is optional.

Where it goes, and when it goes away

The waitlist is stored with Google Firebase in the EU, in europe-west1. We do not sell it or share it for advertising. We keep it until launch, then delete it unless you become a user. In all cases, waitlist data is deleted within 24 months of signup.

Spam protection

We do not store your raw IP address or user agent in the waitlist database. To limit requests, the server keeps a salted hash of your IP with a one-hour expiry. Google Firebase may process request metadata in its infrastructure logs.

The signup form uses Google's reCAPTCHA Enterprise through Firebase App Check to prevent spam. Google processes device and browser information for that check and may set a necessary cookie. We set no advertising or analytics cookies. Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.

Your choices

You can withdraw consent, ask for a copy or correction of your data, or ask us to delete it at any time. Email hello@asdiscussed.app from the address you signed up with. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
